The Truth Is Out There

THE NUMBERS TELL THE STORY

Even a study ordered by the openly pro-gun control Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) found “defensive use of guns by crime victims is a common occurrence.”

“Almost all national survey estimates indicate that defensive gun uses by victims are at least as common as offensive uses by criminals, with estimates of annual uses ranging from about 500,000 to more than 3 million, in the context of about 300,000 violent crimes involving firearms in 2008.”

People like that rat faced David Hogg don’t realize there are 1,029,615 average total of defensive gun uses per year “for self-protection or for the protection of property at home, work, or elsewhere. That’s what they call a shitload and it far outweighs the loss of life from any planned mass shootings.

SOCIALISM. NOTHING MORE THAN BABY STEPS TO COMMUNISM.

WHY ALL OF A SUDDEN WERE SO MANY DEMOCRATS THEN AND NOW RUNNING AS SOCIALISTS? WHY DID SOCIALIST CANDIDATES SUDDENLY JUST POP UP OUR OF NOWHERE?

WHY WAS A PRISTINE WHITE VAN WITH UN-FADED BRAND NEW TRUMP STICKERS NOT VANDALIZED IN A STRONGLY ARMORED DEMOCRATIC NEIGHBORHOOD?

HOUSE CONTROL

NOW THAT AMERICA HAS GIVEN THE CRAZIES CONTROL OF THE HOUSE, THEY PLAN TO HIT TRUMP WITH A WAVE OF SUBPOENAS

This is a very dark moment in American history. On November 6th, the American people gave the keys to the U.S. House of Representatives to the Democrats, and that means that the crazies will soon be unleashed on Capitol Hill. They won’t be able to get much legislation pushed through because Republicans still control the Senate and Donald Trump is still in the White House, but they will be able to cause all sorts of chaos with their investigative powers. If you thought that things were bad the last two years, just wait, because you haven’t seen anything yet. Top Democrats are already talking about hitting Trump with a huge wave of subpoenas, and the White House is bracing for the worst. It is going to be a time of bitter partisan wrangling in Washington, and meanwhile, the nation as a whole is going to continue to fall apart.

In just a couple of months, Nancy Pelosi will be speaker of the House once again. That also means that if something suddenly happened to Donald Trump and Mike Pence, she would become the president of the United States.

Just the thought of that should chill you to the bone.

And of course, Pelosi is just the tip of the iceberg. All of the powerful House committees will now be chaired by Pelosi’s crazy allies, and they plan to use those positions to hurt President Trump as much as possible.

For example, Elijah Cummings will become the chair of the House Oversight Committee, and he has already been calling “for the panel to issue subpoenas to the Trump administration on seven different investigations”…

In September alone, Rep. Elijah E. Cummings, the ranking Democrat on the House Oversight Committee, called for the panel to issue subpoenas to the Trump administration on seven different investigations, ranging from immigration to Obamacare.

With Democrats now poised to take control of the House, Mr. Cummings will likely be in a position as chairman to issue those subpoenas on his own.

Another top Democrat that absolutely hates Trump is Richard Neal of Massachusetts. He is going to become the chair of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, and he has already stated that he plans to use his subpoena power to go after Trump’s tax returns…

Democrats are eager to peek into President Trump’s tax returns with their newfound power in the House.

Rep. Richard Neal of Massachusetts, the top Democrat in the Ways and Means Committee who is poised now to become chairman, has said that he intends to formally request the president’s tax returns.

And let us not forget Maxine Waters.

Yes, crazy Maxine is probably going to get her own committee too. She is likely to become chair of the House Financial Services Committee, and she seems quite eager to cause all sorts of chaos…

Meanwhile, Rep. Maxine Waters, another California Democrat and one who has repeatedly called for Trump’s impeachment, could soon control her own committee — which would yield her the power to subpoena and control the fate of legislation.

Waters, 80, could become chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, where she currently serves as ranking member. The committee oversees the housing, banking, insurance, and securities industries, and Waters has offered big plans if she can bag the job.

Last, but certainly not least, is nutjob Adam Schiff.

Schiff is likely to become the chair of the House Intelligence Committee, and in that position, he could cause a tremendous amount of trouble for Trump…

Another California Democrat, Schiff could likely rise to chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, where he is now the ranking member.

Schiff, 58, said in an interview with CNN that the committee would “investigate questions involving Russian money laundering and President Donald Trump’s businesses.”Schiff said his committee would work in tandem with Waters’ focus on potential money-laundering schemes involving the Trump campaign and Russia, saying he’ll back Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into alleged collusion.

The next two years will be horrible for the Trump administration, horrible for our system of governance, and horrible for the nation as a whole.

But we didn’t get Pelosi, Waters, Cummings, Neal and Schiff as our leaders in Washington by accident.

Those that are representing us in Washington are a reflection of the nation as a whole. So when we look at Congress, we are essentially looking into a mirror. I once believed that if the American people could just see behind the curtain and understand how deeply corrupt these politicians on both sides of the aisle really are that they would make better choices.

Unfortunately, I don’t believe that anymore.

We have horrible leaders because that is what the American people want. This election cycle, a lot of really good men and women ran for office all over the nation, but almost all of them were defeated.

Real solutions to our very serious national problems have been proposed, but that isn’t what the American people want. Instead, what the American people want are more leaders like Nancy Pelosi and the rest of her gaggle of crazies.

It was very difficult for me to write this article this evening, and it is becoming increasingly difficult to see any sort of a positive future for our country.

We are facing crisis after crisis as a nation, but our leaders just keep getting more and more corrupt.

If our founders could see what has happened to the once great nation that they established, they would be rolling over in our graves.

The United States of America is in an advanced state of decline, and we just got more evidence of that fact on Tuesday night.

OPPOSITION COMES B-4 EVERYTHING

UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOW A SOCIETY WHERE THE OPPOSITION COMES FIRST, ONLY THEN TO BE FOLLOWED BY THE PROFESSED REASON FOR THAT OPPOSITION.

THINK ABOUT THAT FOR A MOMENT. THINK ABOUT HOW THE LEFT HAVE BEHAVED THEMSELVES SINCE TRUMP HAS TAKEN OFFICE OF THE POTUS.

Gun Control Twist:

Saving One Life “Does Not Justify” Right To Carry

GUN CONTROL ADVOCATES often use some version of the the phrase “if it saves one life” in order to justify their ineffective proposals. A few weeks ago, the anti-gun editorial page of -the Chicago Sun-Times offered a different take. Fearful that the Right to Carry was getting too much good publicity in the wake of an Illinois concealed-carry permit holder’s heroic actions, the Sun-Times editorial board felt it necessary to lecture its readers, “One brave rescue of a Cicero cop doesn’t justify concealed guns:’

According to a report from the Sun-Times, on Sept. 13, Cicero Police Officer Luis Duarte and his partner were attempting to pull over a vehicle when the driver sped off. Officer Duarte and his partner gave chase and were able to immobilize the suspect’s car. Trapped, the driver retrieved a gun and fired at the officers, striking Duarte four times.

As the officers and the suspect exchanged gunfire, a nearby motorist -and Right-to-Carry permit holder-exited his vehicle and came to the aid of the officers, firing at ‘the gunman.

After the incident, Cicero Police Superintendent Jerry Chlada praised the armed citizen, noting, “We were lucky enough to have a citizen on the street there who was a concealed-carry holder, and he also engaged in gunfire” Cicero Town President Larry Dominick offered similar appreciation for the carry permit holder, stating,

“He got out and started helping the police, which is something I’ve got to be proud of.”

All of this commendation for the selfless act of an armed hero proved too much for the Sun-Times. Lamenting the support the incident might provide for the Right to Carry, the editors argued that “one brave deed does not justify bad public policy:’

First, the Right to Carry is not bad public policy. Right-to-Carry permit holders have proven themselves to be exceptionally law-abiding.

Second, instances of private individuals using firearms to defend themselves and others go well beyond the anecdotes that make the press. In his most recent analysis of the data on defensive gun uses, Florida State University criminologist Gary Kleck determined that Americans use firearms for self-defense about 1 million times per year.

Decades of anti-gun messaging has told the American public that if a gun control measure “saves just one life “any infringement on the rights of law-abiding gun owners is justified.

For example, Chicago-related claims occurred in the 1990’s. In 1994, the Cook County Board of Commissioners passed a ban on commonly owned semi-automatic firearms. Upon passage, Commissioner John P. Daley told the Sun-Times, “If this legislation saves one life, so be it:’

In 1998, Mayor Richard M. Daley touted the Windy City’s frivolous lawsuit against the gun industry and other gun control measures in an op-ed for the Sun-Times. Demanding action, the the mercurial mayor wrote, “One life lost is one too many”.

Coupled with the messaging of their anti-gun allies, the Sun-Times appears intent on creating a can’t-lose scenario for gun control. This holds that if even one life may be saved by a particular gun control measure, it must be adopted.

However, if a measure permitting access to firearms for self-defense might save one life, it is not adequate justification to condone such freedom.

Freedom and Gun rights supporters should give this latest evolution in gun control rhetoric the same consideration as its traditional iteration: none. Which is all it deserves, if even use of the word deserving is appropriate here as well.

TODAY’S EXERCISE

For today’s exercise, we’ll let CNN’s Jim Acosta represent the entire liberal mainstream media (he wants to be a star, rub elbows with the glitterati, so today, the not-at-all humble journalist will be the be-all and end-all).

In the infamous press conference with President Trump earlier this month (Remember? When Acosta stood up to make some declarations [there was hardly a “question” in sight] and then brusquely swiped away a White House intern’s hand when she went to take back the microphone?), Acosta said the president was all wrong about the migrant caravan that was then marching toward the U.S.-Mexican border.

In the November 7 showdown, Trump called on Acosta, who stood and said: “I wanted to challenge you on one of the statements that you made in the tail end of the campaign in the midterms, that this —.” The president cut him off, knowing right away where this was headed, and said, “Oh, here we go.”

Acosta picked up the question. “That this caravan was an ‘invasion.’ ”

“As you know, Mr. President, the caravan was not an invasion,” Acosta said, lecturing the president. “It’s a group of migrants moving up from Central America towards the border with the U.S.,” he said smugly.

Having been properly schooled by the CNN reporter, Trump said: “Thank you for telling me that. I appreciate it.”

Acosta went on to spout nothing but opinion, using loaded words as he unloaded his bias.

“Do you think that you demonized immigrants in this election?” Acosta asked. “Not at all,” Trump said.

“But your campaign had an ad showing migrants climbing over walls and so on,” Acosta said. “They’re not going to be doing that. … They’re hundreds of miles away. … That’s not an invasion.”

Flash ahead less than three weeks and wham-o, an actual invasion as so-called “migrants” clashed with U.S. Border Patrol agents at the San Ysidro port, throwing rocks and yes, trying to climb over fences and walls “and so on.”

Yes, as the president predicted (and feared), thousands of migrants from the caravan gathered in the city of Tijuana, Mexico, and then stormed the border, overwhelming border patrol, who were forced to fire rubber bullets and tear gas to disperse the violent mob. Trump was right, Acosta was wrong.

In an odd twist, the outcome was not what Trump or Republicans wanted — but was exactly what liberals and Democrats (and Acosta) hoped for.

Newly-elected Democratic Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez compared the migrants at the U.S. border to Jews fleeing Nazi Germany. Sen. Brian Schatz, Hawaii Democrat, pondered on Twitter whether the use of tear gas perhaps violates the Chemical Weapons Conventions (duh, it doesn’t). And Rep. Barbara Lee, California Democrat, called on United Nations inspectors to investigate the gassing of “women and children” (it was mostly young men charging the border, if you want to stick with the facts).

But wait, there’s more hilarity. As the Left savaged the president and his administration for firing tear gas at violent rock-throwing men, reporters with even a skosh of institutional memory recalled when then-president Barack Obama did exactly the same thing to stem border “invasions.”

“A group of about 100 people trying to illegally cross the border Sunday near the San Ysidro port of entry threw rocks and bottles at U.S. Border Patrol agents, who responded by using pepper spray and other means to force the crowd back into Mexico, federal officials said,” the San Diego Tribune reported — on November 25, 2013.

Worse still (for liberals, anyway) is the fact that few of the thousands of men who have amassed on the border are applying for asylum — as Democrats (and Acosta) contended they were planning to do when they finally reached America.

“What I saw on the border yesterday was not people walking up to Border Patrol agents and asking to claim asylum,” San Diego Sector Border Control chief patrol agent Rodney Scott said on CNN. “Matter of fact, one of the groups I watched, one of the groups that several of them were arrested, they passed 10 or 15 marked Border Patrol units … numerous uniformed personnel, as they were chanting, waving a Honduran flag, and throwing rocks at the agents.

“If they were truly asylum seekers, they would have just walked up with their hands up and surrendered. And that did not take place,” he said.

So liberals (and Jim Acosta) were completely wrong. “This caravan is not an invasion” really turned out to be fake news.

And you gotta’ know that Trump knew as much when he clashed with Acosta.

Sure, the guy is crazy, but sometimes he’s crazy like a fox.

ONE CODE; ONE RULE

IN THE MATTER OF HOME DEFENSE FOR THE SAFETY OF FAMILY AND SELF, THERE IS ONE CODE TO FOLLOW.

Of YOUR FIREARM, ABSOLUTELY DEMAND ONE WITH AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGE OF IT. THE LIVES OF YOUR FAMILY AND SELF MAY ONE DAY DEPEND ON THAT.

FREEDOMS AND SACRIFICE

If you have to sacrifice freedom for freedom, it’s not freedom.

DANGEROUS CURBS

I am dismayed by what I have been reading, hearing and seeing on the 2nd Amendment. People calling for curbs on the 2nd Amendment.

These people seem to forget the 2nd Amendment protects the freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion and freedom of assembly. The Founding Fathers realized an armed citizenry is essential to keep a tyrannical government at bay.

If you want curbs on the 2nd Amendment, then prepare yourselves for curbs on freedoms that you are taking for granted now. Expect curbs on your freedom of speech, press, religion and assembly. Do not give up rights and freedoms in the hope of trying to eliminate violence. The bad guys do not play by the rules anyway. Why limit the rights of the good guys to protect themselves?

What most people fail to realize (because they are not taught it) is the match that ignited America’s War for Independence was not excessive taxes, or the lack of representation, or trade restrictions, or the lack of trial by jury (as important as these issues were). The match that ignited America’s War for Independence was attempted gun confiscation.

On April 19, 1775, some 800 British troops were dispatched to Concord, Mass., to arrest Sam Adams and John Hancock and to seize a cache of weapons known to be stored at Concord. When Dr. Joseph Warren sent Paul Revere to warn Pastor Jonas Clark (in whose home Adams and Hancock were staying) the Crowns troops were on their way to arrest the two men and seize the guns at Concord, he alerted his male congregants. About 60-70 men from the Church of Lexington stood armed on Lexington Green awaiting the Red Coats.

Upon spotting the citizen militia, a British officer demanded the men throw down their arms. They refused; and the British troops immediately opened fire. Eight of the Minutemen were instantly killed. The colonists returned fire in self-defense, and the shot was fired that was heard round the world. By the time the troops arrived at the Concord Bridge, just a few miles away, hundreds of colonists were waiting for them with muskets in hand, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Make no mistake about it: attempted gun confiscation ignited America’s War for Independence. If the federal government attempts to confiscate the guns of the American people, there will be revolution in this country!

To quote George Washington, If freedom of speech is taken away, then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter.

Wake up from your slumber, people. All our rights and freedoms are in grave danger.

From the Mind of a Dumb ole’ Biker

Political Correctness, what does it really mean? Have you given it any thought? Political Correctness is just a nice way of saying censorship, By labeling things as hate speech, they are quite literally censoring what you can and can’t say. By adding an Ism behind it or a phobic behind it and calling it hate speech is really nothing more than censorship, your right to free speech is gone. By making words offensive and labeling those words as racist or homophobic, they have limited yours and my freedom of expression.
Sadly they claim their rights to free speech, but they limit yours and mine. They are actually making laws and have been for a long time now, to censor your words and thoughts. These people aren’t even aware of what they’re doing. But they are literally gutting the so called First Amendment. By imposing their will on us, and forcing their life styles on us, they are gutting the First Amendment. Religion, and Free Speech. Think about what I’m telling you. By us, being complacent and allowing their hatred to dictate what we can and can’t say in public, what we can and can’t do in public, they have gained the upper hand. Simply calling it Hate Speech and we are silently sitting by and allowing it.
We can’t even talk about God outside the church without offending someone. We limited God to the church building. Sadly, our Pastors, stood by silently. Where the heck were our Pastors in all of this? Pastors preaching the feel good message and they let this slip upon us. Where is the Church? Even our Churches are now being taken over, allowing gay marriages, gay pastors, Lesbian pastors? Seriously? What happened to the Church? What happened to Gods Word? Gods Word, not my what you think it means word, or what it should have been’s word. What happened to God’s Holy Word? Where were the Pastors? They stood by silently and allowed this feel good, do what ever you please mentality slip upon us. The Pastors, not wanting to offend anyone, allowed this.
Think about it, think real hard. Look at our children and think about what we have allowed. God doesn’t change, He’s the same today as he was yesterday, and the same as he will be tomorrow. Remember, 1000 years is like a day in God’s dimension. God doesn’t change. Human’s get more and more evil everyday, now look at us. Again, where were the Pastors? Oh yeah, they were afraid to offend anyone…
But what do I know, I’m just an Ole Biker from Wisconsin.

Political Correctness will be the death of this Once Great Nation…. We have literally turned into Sodom and Gomorrah…
God Bless, and maybe it’s time we turned back to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. I mean seriously, what have we got to lose?

THE THOUGHT POLICE STATE IS ALREADY HERE!

If you want to understand the zeal with which social media platforms are now being censored, all you have to do is to look at what has been happening on our college campuses. There is a national movement to combat “offensive speech”, and this movement has been working very hard “to scrub campuses clean of words, ideas, and subjects that might cause discomfort or give offense”. And these days, just about anything that you might say or think is probably going to deeply offend someone.

For example, saying that “America is the land of opportunity” is now considered to be a “microaggression”, and even the act of hanging an American flag in front of your dwelling can also be considered to be a “microaggression” depending on the context.

It can be tempting to laugh at how ridiculous our college students have become, but it is imperative to remember that these students all eventually enter the real world, and many of them end up in positions of power. And from those positions of power, they can make life extremely uncomfortable for all the rest of us.

The “social media purge” is a perfect example of this, and the censorship of speech is only going to become more widespread as time goes on. The next generation of “America’s thought police” is rising, and they intend to make sure that the future belongs to the politically correct.

Things have already reached such absurd levels that even those that are attempting to “raise awareness of microaggressions” are being accused of “microaggressions” themselves. Just check out the following example…

Some recent campus actions border on the surreal. In April, at Brandeis University, the Asian American student association sought to raise awareness of microaggressions against Asians, through an installation on the steps of an academic hall. The installation gave examples of microaggressions such as “Aren’t you supposed to be good at math?” and “I’m colorblind! I don’t see race.” But a backlash arose among other Asian American students, who felt that the display itself was a microaggression. The association removed the installation, and its president wrote an e-mail to the entire student body apologizing to anyone who was “triggered or hurt by the content of the microaggressions.”

We are rapidly getting to the point in this country where a large portion of the population will be deathly afraid of saying or doing anything the least bit controversial for fear that someone might be ‘offended’.

And even if you are exceedingly careful, you still might end up offending someone and find yourself mired in an endless investigation. For instance, consider what happened at one community college in New Jersey…

Last year administrators at Bergen Community College, in New Jersey, suspended Francis Schmidt, a professor, after he posted a picture of his daughter on his Google+ account. The photo showed her in a yoga pose, wearing a T-shirt that read I will take what is mine with fire & blood, a quote from the HBO show Game of Thrones. Schmidt had filed a grievance against the school about two months earlier after being passed over for a sabbatical. The quote was interpreted as a threat by a campus administrator, who received a notification after Schmidt posted the picture; it had been sent, automatically, to a whole group of contacts. According to Schmidt, a Bergen security official present at a subsequent meeting between administrators and Schmidt thought the word fire could refer to AK-47’s.

This time of year is often particularly bad, because the thought police are particularly active.

Some Americans celebrate Christmas, some celebrate Hanukkah, some celebrate other holidays and some don’t celebrate any holidays at all.

But at schools all across America, the thought police are feverishly working to make sure that everything is in line with the latest standards of political correctness. At one school, they even banned the colors red and green, because administrators felt that those colors represented Christmas and therefore were not legal.

And students that wished to send cards to the troops are being instructed not to include the words “Merry Christmas”…

Students asked to send seasonal cards to military troops have been told to make them “holiday cards” and instructed not to use the words “Merry Christmas” on them.

Many schools have re-dubbed their Christmas concerts as “winter holiday programs” and refer to Christmas as a “winter festival.” Festivus For The Rest Of Us anyone, as the one Seinfeld episode rendered? Some schools have cancelled holiday celebrations altogether to avoid offending those who do not celebrate the various holidays.

I no longer recognize this country anymore.

From the cradle all the way through college, we are raising a generation of overprotected “snowflakes” that have been trained to throw temper tantrums whenever their protective bubbles are somehow pierced by the real world.

When I was growing up, I walked myself to elementary school from first grade up, and continued on through HS. And every day after school, we would play in the streets without any parental supervision whatsoever.

But if you allowed your kids to do those things today, you would be considered an extremely irresponsible parent.

By the time our overprotected children get to college, they have become very accustomed to their protective bubbles, and they believe that anyone that disrupts those protective bubbles should be punished. Unfortunately, by treating our children this way, we are preparing them very poorly for the real world. A recent article in the Atlantic made this point very well…

But vindictive protectiveness teaches students to think in a very different way. It prepares them poorly for professional life, which often demands intellectual engagement with people and ideas one might find uncongenial or wrong. The harm may be more immediate, too. A campus culture devoted to policing speech and punishing speakers is likely to engender patterns of thought that are surprisingly similar to those long identified by cognitive behavioral therapists as causes of depression and anxiety. This new protectiveness may be teaching students to think pathologically.

In order for freedom of speech to exist, we must be willing to live in a society with people that have different viewpoints from our own.

Sadly, an increasing number of Americans don’t want that. Instead, what they want is for those that hold ‘intolerable’ views to be punished by society. We see this in the headlines on a daily basis in 2018, and it is getting progressively worse with each passing year.

John Whitehead, the author of Battlefield America: The War On The American People, summed things up quite well in his most recent commentary…

Never forget, the police state wants us to be a nation of snowflakes, snitches and book burners: a legalistic, intolerant, elitist, squealing bystander nation willing to turn on each other and turn each other in for the slightest offense.

Political correctness has become institutionalized, and if you think that the “thought police” are bad now, the truth is that the next generation is going to be even worse.

If our founders could see what we have become they would be rolling over in their graves, because this is not what they intended.
