Summer Break Doesn’t Mean School Safety Is On Recess

NOW IS THE TIME TO BEGIN THINKING SCHOOL YEAR SAFETY BECAUSE THE SCHOOLS AND GOVERNMENTS CERTAINLY AREN’T!

BUT THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE PROVIDING HELP AND ANSWERS WHEN YOUR POLITICIANS PROVIDE NOTHING BUT EMPTY SAMO, SAMO RHETORIC.

YOU READ THIS AND THEN TELL ME EITHER IT’S AN INSANE IDEA AND THAT YOU WOULD RATHER CONTINUE THE SAME PATH AS SCHOOL YEARS PAST OR, CONSIDER THAT THIS IS ACTUALLY A PLAN THAT HAS MERIT. YOU DECIDE!

WITH SUMMER NOW in full swing, the last thing kids are thinking about is going back to school. But it ought to be the first thing parents are thinking about, especially when it comes to school security.

Honestly, it is a bizarre fact that, in this country, our jewelry stores and airports and banks are more protected and, apparently, more important than our children.

Think about it. Our NFL games, our NBA games, our office buildings, our politicians and our movie stars are all protected better than our children at school.

There are 132,800 public and private kindergartens through high schools in the United States. According to survey information, 65 percent of those schools have recorded one or more incidents of violent crime.

Yes, it’s summer. But every parent, teacher, administrator, law enforcement officer, local politician and community leader needs to think—right now—about protecting our children when they return to the classroom.

Nothing can be more important than protecting our innocent children while they are at school.

That is why the NRA launched its National School Shield program in 2012. Its singular mission is to protect our children in their learning environment.

Any American school that needs immediate professional consultation and help with organizing and defining their own security solutions should call the NRA National School Shield program—they will provide immediate assistance absolutely free of charge. That is more than anybody at the Democratic National Committee, The Washington Post or The New York Times has ever offered.

NRA members believe in the right to keep and bear arms. They will never waver from their fight to defend their constitutional freedoms and will never waver from their fight to defend the safety of the children at school.

Evil walks among us. That is our reality, and God help us if we don’t take steps to protect our children from it.

The NRA’s National School Shield seeks to engage communities and empower local leaders to make our schools more secure and our children safer.

Their resources, free of charge and funded through grants generously donated by NRA members and supporters, help local schools in major ways.

National School Shield provides a comprehensive vulnerability assessment of each specific school that requests their help. This includes a school climate evaluation, physical security, communications systems, overall preparedness and more.

It also facilitates critical partnerships between school officials, law enforcement and local leadership to recognize strengths and vulnerabilities, and to help institute the very best practices to protect our children.

As so many schools report inadequate funding as the top reason for not enhancing security, The NRA Foundation is stepping up and raising vital funds to help schools all over this country increase security measures, harden their schools and better keep our kids safe.

The national news media doesn’t report it and the anti-freedom crowd will never admit it, but no one cares more about the safety of our children at school than the 6 million+ women and men of the National Rifle Association of America.

Our children must be protected as much and more than we protect our banks, sports stadiums and Hollywood celebrities. That is why NRA members are outraged that, in this country, we surround our money and celebrities and wealthy elites with so much armed security, while at the same time dropping our kids off at “Gun-Free Zone” schools without so much as a prayer for their safety.

In every community—right now, in the heart of summer vacation—school districts, PTA’s, teachers, unions, local law enforcement and parents must come together to discuss and implement the very best strategy to harden their schools. There is no one-size-fits-all strategy, and the NRA’s National School Shield is here to help every individual district design their own safety strategy.

And, if appropriate, that should include effective, trained, armed security to meet head on the evil our children could one day face.

To anyone who says armed security can never be part of the solution, let’s take armed security from the White House, from Congress, from our banks, office buildings and sports stadiums. If those institutions deserve our best protections, our own children certainly deserve at least that much and more safety.

That is why NRA members support the Second Amendment, our greatest freedom that not only preserves our individual rights but also extends to freedom of our children to be able go to school, learn and grow in a safe environment.

When we stand and fight for our freedoms, we stand and fight for all Americans, whether they agree with us or not, because our fight is for American freedom for all. That absolutely includes the freedom and safety of our school children.

That is why, in the hearts of every one of the 6 million + members of the National Rifle Association, there truly stands America’s Safest Place.

PRESS CONFERENCE ATTACK

Just so everyone is clear. The Russians had nothing to do with voting for President Trump.

The US has interfered in other countries elections and if it’s true… I wouldn’t be surprised if the Russians did ours. I know it did not affect my vote.

Regardless, I do not believe yesterday’s press conference was the place to attack Putin. We need to get along and work with Russia. Putin did say he would be happy to put our prosecuting teams in the same room with those charged on Friday.

OBAMA intelligence agency heads and an OBAMA FBI director, now special counsel who used a fake Russian dossier gotten from a former UK Russian specialist spy where in UK had a SUDDEN poisoning of 2 Russian spies;

A communist former CIA director squalling treason has indicted OUR Security Adviser, OUR former campaign manager, 17 Russians, three companies, one that didn’t exist at the time they were accused and 13 Russians that indicted and claimed they worked for Putin or Ukraine former president that was friends with McCain?

SO MUCH OF NOTHING

In its purest sense, love is simply seeking or ensuring the good end of another and yet, this is impossible under atheism.

YES. THERE I FINALLY SAID IT. AMERICA’S BETTER HALF.

Gun owners, ‘America’s better half,’ people who can safely and sanely wield private power by keeping and bearing arms, are getting close to their limit. Everything points to this. Constant attacks on their rights and human decency, from radical left-wing bigots determined to destroy this fine nation, are approaching a breaking point.

From non-stop Trump Derangement Syndrome where broadcast news is supposed to appear, to legislators proposing tyrannical violations of the Constitution and decency, to a public divide fostered by a left-wing take-over of the education system, America’s better half is not pleased, and this is putting it mildly.

The mugging that gun rights and gun owners took after a maniac cracked in a Las Vegas hotel was way over the top. So-called “news” media staffers actually provided veiled support and cover for whatever actually went on there. Months later we had no hard details, no security camera video, real questions unanswered, and yet the diatribe against guns flowed freely. Congress introduced bills against plastic accessories. “That side” continues to pour blame onto fine, upstanding citizens who keep and bear arms, for heinous copycat acts anywhere, which mimic and are encouraged by ‘Hollyrot’.

This is amplified by a debauched culture promoted by television, the government school system and politicians with no understanding of (disregard or care for) fundamental American cultural and political values. If not, there’s going to be irreparable harm. America needs to wake up while there’s still time.

At the recent Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade (SHOT) Show in Las Vegas, along with scuttlebutt I picked up from folks who were there and talks I had with them, I’ve garnered a sense of things deserving a good airing.

For a while there, I heard concern this malaise might be so bad that the SHOT Show, celebrating its 40th year and welcomed growth, might be postponed due to the crime last year. That and a coupled rumored of a protest as well. No demonstration got staged, and the left’s angst wasn’t enough to stop life as the Right knows it. What WAS learned and gleaned from this however was this:

• The public is repulsed and insulted by the demeaning and sick treatment they’ve received at the hands of mass media. The bias there disgraces the profession of journalism.

• People accept no responsibility for the acts of psychopaths. Suggesting the Right borders on psychotic. Proposing laws to punish them instead of criminals, and it is that which is complete and utter insanity.

• Gun owners are shooters. The criminals are murderers. Conflating the terms is deceptive and promotes a nefarious agenda.

• Tens of millions of shooters are upstanding individuals. Persistently referring to mass killers as shooters after the fact is absolutely sick and perverse. People who insist on doing so may need medical attention. It may not merely be a political position. Hoplophobic behavior must be recognized and treated when present.

• Constantly referring to a murderer as a gunman is sexist and needlessly denigrates firearms. It is deliberate, unethical, immoral, serves a corrupt agenda, and must stop. Journalists who knowingly persist in this violate their published codes of ethics, and hypocritically use sexism while publicly condemning the practice.

• When media conflates such terms, they use language without precision. People are deeply offended, and reporters fail to do their jobs with required accuracy. You can see their failures plainly, and so consumers have by the millions abandoned trust in them, and with cause. There’s no mystery why audiences have evaporated. It can be easily blamed on technology, but not truthfully.

• Denigrating the public’s guns after a spree murder is virtually a crime against the First and Second Amendments together. It insults everything those bedrocks stand for. Especially the balance of power our rights represent and protect. Mass media would never assault free speech after a maniac posts an incentivizing screed, a jihadi exhorts killers or’ Hollyrot’ advertises some new unknown depravity, illuminating media players’ gross hypocrisy (or need for medical attention).

• Reporters who’ve never been to a range to practice or don’t own firearms themselves, which describes so many, are inadequate or unqualified to cover firearm-related topics. It’s blatantly obvious and deeply offensive to news consumers familiar with guns. Reporters are in serious denial about this, but people know it’s true. The reporting attests to the incompetence the public endures.

• Hints of limiting the public because authorities are under-armed are abhorrent. This ship sailed when machine guns were granted to police and essentially banned to citizens in 1986. If the public’s stock of firearms and ammunition gets so large it exceeds that of authorities, the authorities simply get more. AND BY THE WAY, THE FOUNDING FATHER’S PURPOSELY WROTE THE CONSTITUTION AND AMENDMENTS SO THAT THE POWER OF GOVERNMENT NEVER EXCEEDED THAT OF ITS CITIZENS. THAT WAS THE INTENDED PURPOSE AND POINT.

Disarming the public to achieve balance is infringement, prohibited. The Second Amendment is designed to create and maintain a critically important balance of power, for liberty. Constant attacks on their rights and human decency, from radical left-wing bigots determined to destroy this fine nation, are approaching a breaking point.

• Failure to attribute fault to Big Pharma and mass entertainment after increasingly common mass murder looks almost conspiratorial. Especially so with the headlong rush to instead blame gun owners who took no part in the evil of the day. Violence ideation — on the labels of medications, visual psychic conditioning and copycat encouragement — those things are real, and nearly constant now in our culture and cabinets.

The media could restore some balance by running stories extolling and examining the values of the Second Amendment, fulfilling their obligation to present all sides of an issue. Americans hold out little hope they will see anything like this because they have been betrayed for so long. The fact that the news-gathering machinery of our nation could be this askew is jarring at the very least. The destructive effect is enough to start unraveling the fabric of our society.

While the reporting remains so visibly corrupt and the psychotic acts so intolerable, it would not be unwise to redouble our efforts: to train others in the use of arms, to better arm ourselves, and to expose as widely as possible the righteous reasons the public is and must always remain armed.
