Guess what? Most people agree that nobody wants war. So Putin denies that the Russians tried to interfere in our 2016 election. Most Americans, myself included, believe they did. I don’t believe it had any real effect on the outcome, however. It’s hard to win an election when you run the most detestable candidate in your arsenal. (killary) America has interfered over the globe in many country elections over the years and so have other countries as well. The important question here is, was there any collusion between the Russians and Trump?
Mueller has been investigating for about 16 months and hasn’t found anything. Trump denies it. So now the detractors are disappointed that when Putin denied it, Trump didn’t call him a bare faced liar on international tv.
In the world of diplomacy, calling the 2nd most powerful person on earth a liar in front of the world isn’t a good idea. I am sure if he had done that, the detractors would be saying, “What’s he trying to do, start a war with Russia”?
But in any case, Trump and his administration are all damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Conservatives know that republicans know no other way.
